Whereas lithographic vintage posters emanate casual magic, the graphic genius of the individually-colored vintage pochoir prints shown here entails more complex observation and display. As doing justice to that mode of expression, French vintage pochoir prints become vivacious studies of the lives enacting the ideals covered by the term, "art deco," lives variously troubled and blessed. The vast majority of these vintage pochoir prints were produced by the deluxe fashion journal, Gazette du Bon Ton (GBT).
