Lucien Boucher (1889-1971)

Known mainly for a series of absorbing, Air France, world-map posters, signalling a global theatre, Lucien Boucher launched his design career attuned to the commercial promise of Surrealism. Regarding this formative moment, we are very pleased to offer glorious lithographic plates by Boucher from the extremely rare portfolio,PAN(1928), which celebrates the premium upon depth displayed by Paris carriage-trade businesses in the 1920s.
